"title": "Department of Land Administration, Taipei City Government",
"Content": "The predecessor of the Department of Land Administration was the Taipei City Land Administration Section, formerly affiliated with Taipei City Government, when the City itself used to be a provincial municipality. It comprised four divisions (land cadastral, land value, land rights and land use), governed one land office (the Taipei Land Office) and had 21 staff members. After Taipei City was upgraded to the status of a municipality on July 1, 1967, the Department of Land Administration was established under the Department of Civil Affairs (Note: The establishment was pursuant to Executive Yuan Order Tai-Nei-Tzu No. 1471 on February 24, 1968.); it comprised five sections and three offices and governed the Taipei Land Office and Survey Division. To improve the equalization of land rights and to implement the land-to-the-tiller, the Department of Land Administration was upgraded as a first-level agency of the Taipei City Government as the Department of Land Administration on May 5, 1971 pursuant to the Executive Yuan Order Ren-Zheng-Er-Tzu No. 19620 on August 29, 1970. The Department comprised five sections and four offices, and governed three land offices (Jiancheng, Songshan and Guting). Meanwhile, the Survey Division was expanded and renamed the Survey Division of the Department of Land Administration, Taipei City Government. In January 1974, with the reform of the Yangmingshan Administration, the Shilin Land Office was merged into the Department of Land Administration, Taipei City Government. In January 1977, the Land Readjustment Commission originally under the Taipei City Government then came under this Department of Land Administration and was reformed as the Taipei City Land Readjustment Division. In response to the increased needs due to rapid economic growth, the Zhongshan Land Office was admitted to be established on July 1, 1981. The Technology Office was renamed as the Systems Administration to promote the information affairs and the Da’an Land Office was established in November 1988. On September 6, 2005, the Land Readjustment Division and the Survey Division were united to form the “Land Development Agency, Department of Land Administration, Taipei City Government,” which takes charge of affairs for zone expropriation, urban land readjustment and cadastral survey. On July 29 2009, the Organizational Regulations Of Department Of land Administration was revised, and the 1st to 5th Division were renamed respectively as Cadaster & Cadastral Survey Division, Land Value Division, Land Rights & Real Estate Transaction Division, Land Use Division, and Land Development Division, according to their business functions and nature. The Department of Land's Chinese Title had been used for about forty years since 1971, due to the revision of “The Taipei City Government Organization Self-Government Ordinance\"; although the organization body and Chinese title of the Department of Land Administration were changed coordinately on December 20, 2011, the English title still remains the same. On January 31, 2016, in order to construct the smart city spatial data infrastructure and enhance the quality of surveying and mapping affairs, and achieve the goal of sharing the resources of surveying and mapping. We established a specialized “Division for Surveying and Mapping Affairs \" to make the planning, coordination, and policy promotion of the surveying business more convenient. \"Cadaster & Cadastral Survey Division” simultaneously amended to \" Division for Land Registration Affairs”.",

"title": "Taipei City Guting Land Office",
"Content": "Guting Land Office was formerly the Taipei City Land Office. When the Taipei City Government was reformed as the municipal city on July 1st, 1967 with the increasing load of land affairs, the Taipei City Land Office was then divided into Songshan, Jiancheng, and Guting which were established officially on April 1st, 1969 pursuant to Executive Yuan Order Ren-Zheng-Er-Tzu No. 8782 issued on December 27th, 1968. Originally, Guting Land Office had three divisions to manage 4 districts including Guting, Daan, Jingmei and Muzha Districts. With the frequent real estate changes, the business for registration and survey operations had fast growth. As a result, Zhongshan Land Office was established on July 1st, 1981. The administrative jurisdiction of this Land Office then included 5 districts , such as Guting, Jingmei, Muzha, Longshan, and Shuanyuan Districts. With the increasing population and fast economic development, Daan Land Office was established on July 1st, 1989. This Land Office’s administrative jurisdiction was modified to include Guting, Jingmei, and Muzha Districts with an additional division established to handle the information matters. As the reform of the administrative districts in Taipei City took place in 1990, Guting Land Office’s administrative jurisdiction was again changed to include Wenshan District and Zhongzheng District (The south of Aiguo East and West Road) and has been so till this day.",

"title": "Taipei City Jiancheng Land Office",
"Content": "Phase I: Early years after 1945In the early years after 1945, there was only one land office named as Taipei City Land Office to be in charge of affairs about real estate registration and survey in the entire Taipei area. It was the former entity of Jiancheng Land Office under the supervision of the Taipei City Government and supervised and directed by the Land Section. The administrative jurisdiction included 10 districts, such as Jiancheng, Yanping, Datong, Chengzhong, Longshan, Shuanyuan and others.Phase II: 1967~ 1980Because of the upgrade of Taipei City in 1967 and rapid growth in land affairs, the original land office was not able to handle the enormous workload by itself. As a result, in 1969, the Taipei City Government decided to divide the original Taipei City Land Office into Jiancheng Land Office, Guting Land Office, and Songshan Land Office. It was the first time when the name Jiancheng Land Office was created. The jurisdiction and workload of Jiancheng Land Office outnumbered those of the other two land offices.Phase III: After 1981Due to the increasing transactions in real estate and consideration for the citizens, the jurisdiction of Jiancheng Land Office was partially separated to Zhongshan Land Office in 1981 and Daan Land Office in 1989.For now, Jiancheng Land Office manages the affairs of Datong District, Wanhua District and part of Zhongzheng District ( The north of Aiguo East and West Road). This is the Jiancheng Land Office as the public know it as of today. ",

However, one land office was insufficient for the expansion of administrative divisions and increasing workload. As a result, in 1969, Taipei City Government decided to divide \"Taipei City Land Office\" into Jiancheng Land Office, Guting Land Office, and Songshan Land Office. It was the first time when the name of \"Songshan Land Office of Taipei City\" was called. Phase III: Era of developmentInitially, Songshan Land office was located on the fourth section of Bade Road, governing land affairs of Songshan District, Nangang District and Neihu District. In 1976, due to the rapid expansion of land affairs, thus we moved to a three-floor building at No.2, Ln. 29, Hulin St. In 1981, as Zhongshan Land office was founded, Songshan Land Office changed its administrative jurisdiction to Songshan District and Nangang District. In 1990, the original Songshan District was divided into Songshan District and Xinyi District. In 1991, Songshan Land Office was relocated at Xinyi District Administration Center in the Xinyi District, governing land affairs of Songshan, Xinyi, and Nangang Districts. Since the office was located in the newly-developed area, the business load has outnumbered that of the other five land offices of Taipei City. In 2007, to have a spacious workplace and provide the public with better services, the land office was removed to the building of the Emergency Operation Center of Taipei City.",

In the early years, the land office was renting the gathering hall administered by the National Housing Division which was not an ideal service location with the narrow space and the fact that it was adjacent to a market. In December 2001, the office environment was improved when it was moved to a self-owned office building at 1-4 floors, No. 6, Lane 335, Section 4, Xinyi Road, Daan District, Taipei City.",

"title": "Land Development Agency, Department of Land Administration, Taipei City Government",
"Content": "The establishment of Land Development Agency had been prepared since 1998 by the Department of Land Administration, Taipei City Government. It was meant to consolidate the agencies in charge of zone expropriation, urban land consolidation and cadastral survey, i.e., the “Land Consolidation Division of Taipei City” and “Survey Division of Department of Land, Taipei City Government”, which had been under the jurisdiction of the Department of Land of Taipei City Government, and integrated the partial functions of the Fifth Division of the Department, as the Land Development Agency. The Department of Land also started the drafting of the “Organization Rules of Land Development Agency, Department of Land Administration, Taipei City Government” and the Table of the Organization Structure. The bills were approved at the Taipei City Executive meeting on July 3, 2001, passed by the Taipei City Council on January 6, 2004, and approved by the Examination Yuan on September 6, 2005 , upon the efforts made by the three Commissioners: Ren-ju, Hsu, Qing-quan, Sung and Tsong-ji, Ji. On September 6, 2005, the Land Development Agency, Department of Land Administration, Taipei City Government was then established to fully promote land development and build a beautiful, superior, and happy living Taipei metropolitan with the first historical step. The Land Development Agency was renamed on December 20, 2011, due to the amendment of organization rules. However, the agency is keeping the same English name.",
