Taipei City Shilin Land Office

Taipei City Shilin Land Office was established on April 1st, 1951 pursuant to the approval of the former Yangmingshan Administration with a staff of 9. In 1968 when Yangmingshan Administration became a subordinate of the Taipei City Government, this land office remained to be under Yangmingshan Administration. The staff of the land office was later adjusted to be 55 persons to cope with the workload that came with the rapid economic growth and increasing population. In 1974, the Yangmingshan Administration was abolished, and Shilin Land Office became a subordinate of the Department of Land, Taipei City Government. The land office currently has 97 staffs and governs Beitou District and Shilin District.
